I continue to be busy getting my Lightroom Plugins<\/a>\nready for the next release of Lightroom 4<\/span><\/a> (the real\nthing if not another beta)... I just don<\/span>'t seem to have the energy to much\nelse, but I hate<\/span> not posting every day, much less every week(!)<\/p>\n\n

So for something easy to post today, I just went<\/span> through my photos from\na couple<\/span> of outings last November to pick a few<\/span> pretty pictures, and ended\nup deciding to make them all fodder for my\ndesktop-background category<\/a>. Most have some fairly aggressive\nprocessing to make them punchy.<\/p>\n\n

The last pair of shots was taken at the Yoshiminedera Temple (\u5584\u5cef\u5bfa)<\/span> in\nsouthern Kyoto on an outing with Paul Barr, as seen in other posts from\nthat trip here<\/a> and here<\/a> (and in many\nprevious posts listed here<\/a>). This next picture,\nof where we had dinner on the way home, is great inspiration for me:<\/p>\n\n

It's inspiration for two reasons. It reminds<\/span> me that Paul will be in\ntown later this month for the cherry blossoms, and when Paul's in town, I spend<\/span> much time showing him new photogenic spots, being shown new\nphotogenic spots, or revisiting known photogenic spots. And also because<\/span>\nI'm sure we'll make a trip<\/span> back to that restaurant so that I can<\/span> make a\nproper<\/span> report on what we discovered there: the largest burgers I had<\/span> ever\nseen in real life.
