Wow, what an ordeal. It started<\/span> a month<\/span> or so ago when I decided<\/span> to put some of my photos on my iPad and iPhone,\nand found that it was harder to do well than I would<\/span> have thought. A lot<\/i> harder.<\/p>\n\n

A month later, finally, and I have a good<\/span> workflow. It turns<\/span> out that I ended<\/span> up writing a new<\/span> Lightroom plugin\n(“Crop for iPad”<\/a><\/span>, which I've just released),\nand updated two others, geoencoding support<\/a> and my\nTree Publisher<\/a>. All just to<\/span> get reasonable copies of my photos on my iPad and iPhone.<\/p>\n\n

It was a heck of a lot more work than I would<\/span> have ever imagined. I'm glad it<\/span>, and the long writeup (with 22 screenshots!) is finally done. I hope someone<\/span> finds it useful.<\/p>\n\n
