In particular, this doesn't use any\n&#8220;negative clarity&#8221; in Lightroom, as described in &#8220;<a\nhref='\/blog\/2008-08-01\/895' class='pt'>Funky Joy With\nAdobe Lightroom<\/a>&#8221; and used, for example, in the first photo <a\nhref='\/blog\/2009-04-21\/1194'>here<\/a>. <span class='nobr'>All the creaminess<\/span>\nin this shot is directly from the Voigtl\u00e4nder 125mm's <a\nhref='\/blog\/2011-04-11\/1743'>delicious bokeh<\/a> and my\n<strike class='nobr'>&nbsp;dumb luck&nbsp;<\/strike> inspired skill in\ncomposition. <\/p>\n\n<p>With the way the edge comes close to focus but doesn't quite get there,\nand how it grabs your attention and leads it back to the defocused\nareas.... somehow <span class='nobr'>I think<\/span> there's <span class='nobr'>a deep<\/span> lesson in composition here, but\nI'm not able to put my finger on exactly what it is. <span class='nobr'>In any case<\/span>, <span class='nobr'>I really<\/span> like the shot and will probably frame <span class='nobr'>a print<\/span> of it for my wall.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Looking over photos from the Ikebana show I mentioned yesterday, I came across this shot with not a single thing in focus, but somehow I really like its mood.
