Continuing with the recent series from an April stroll among a bunch<\/span>\nof temples<\/a> in eastern Kyoto, when I'd stumbled across the Sennyuji Temple (\u6cc9\u6d8c\u5bfa)<\/span>\nI'd done so at a side entrance<\/a>,\nbut I later<\/span> found the main entrance and the nice initial view one gets when using it:<\/p>\n\n

The ladies in the photo above are looking at a shrub<\/span> of pink blossoms that are otherwise out of place among\nthe green tunnel of the side entrance path...<\/p>\n\n

Of course, I had to<\/span> check them out up close with my Voigtl\u00e4nder 125mm macro<\/a>, which\ntends to love flowers and blossoms (as seen many times on my blog, recently including\nhere<\/a>,\nhere<\/a>,\nhere<\/a>,\nhere<\/a>,\nhere<\/a>,\nhere<\/a>,\nhere<\/a>,\nhere<\/a>, and\nhere<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n

I tried focusing through the drop to what was refracted from behind it,\nbut the result is pretty indistinct...<\/p>\n\n

After the lack of color in last week's Roofs and Gardens<\/a> post, I'm happy<\/span> to get a bit<\/span> of color back.<\/p>\n\n
