The two colorful ladies were posing for a touristy<\/span>-looking lady (seen at\nleft). I'm not sure<\/span> whether I'm more impressed by the shear volume of their\nhair, or their selection of shoes to accompany their traditional yukata:\nhigh-heel platforms for the one, purple Crocs for another.<\/p>\n\n

The third day was by far the most packed with people, and it was a\nstruggle<\/span> to make progress walking in the street. So I moved<\/span> off to a minor<\/span>\nside street where it was more “festive” than “packed”, and sat down to\nenjoy a beer.<\/span> (The small stool I'd used to get above the crowd<\/a>\nwas useful in that I could<\/span> stop and sit down pretty much anywhere.)<\/p>\n\n

Next to me while I was enjoying my beer was a well<\/span>-dressed couple...<\/p>\n\n

Later still, with my evening winding down, I came across<\/span> a Spanish<\/span> Restaurant selling\na beer<\/span> & ham combo from the parking lot next to their place....<\/p>\n\n
