I was out again today for an amazing day of fall-foliage photography,\nand on the way home in the late afternoon stopped in to the Koutouin Temple\n(\u9ad8\u6850\u9662)<\/span> for 10 minutes, just to peek at its most-excellent entrance path,\nwhich featured prominently in “A First<\/span> Visit To\nKyoto\u2019s Koutou-in Temple<\/a>” two weeks ago. I have still<\/span> literally not\neven looked at the photos from my second trip to this temple, but since I\ntook<\/span> only a few<\/span> photos on this trip today, I thought<\/span> I'd post some.<\/p>\n\n

I was greeted with exactly what I expected.<\/span>... lots of people...<\/p>\n\n

It didn't last for more than just a few<\/span> seconds before it was again jam\npacked with people, and I made<\/span> a boo<\/span>-boo with my camera settings that\nresulted in severely over-exposing that last shot (which I then<\/span> corrected\nas best I could<\/span> in Lightroom), but I would<\/span> have never imagined the path\nbeing clear even for a second<\/span> during this season, so I was<\/span> most happy to\nstumble upon a clear<\/span> moment.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
