I'd gone out to the mountains with Paul Barr<\/a> today,\nintending to retrace the steps of last week's temple hopping in the\nmountains of south-western Kyoto<\/a>, but we were so consumed by the beauty\nat the first stop, the Yoshiminedera Temple (about which I still<\/span> have 500+\nphotos from last week to sift through) that we didn't do much else.<\/p>\n\n

But still, in the late afternoon on the way home, between episodes of\ngetting soaked in the rain, we did happen upon a small<\/span> temple that we took a few<\/span>\nminutes to explore.<\/p>\n\n
