For a while I was posting installments in the story about my brother-in-law's wedding\nlast month<\/a>, with the most recent installment being “Shogo and Namiko's\nWedding: Reception, Part V (Entertainment)<\/a>” three weeks ago. I stopped<\/span> putting up new posts midstream because I suddenly<\/span> had the idea to\nmake a photo<\/span> book of their wedding as a gift,<\/span> and so dedicated a lot<\/span> of\ntime to it, and also because I wanted<\/span> to hold back the rest of the photos\nuntil I could<\/span> present the book.<\/p>\n\n

The photo above is probably the best photo I've ever taken, except using\n“photo” and “taken” is probably not as appropriate as “result” and\n“accomplished” because I did<\/span> some post processing in Lightroom to isolate\nNamiko from the background. The original<\/span> is actually the first photo of this post<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

All the post processing was in Lightroom, which doesn't allow me to\nextend the black background to the right; I'd think it'd look better to\nhave her on the left side of the frame rather than the right. I could<\/span> do it\nin Photoshop, but I'm too lazy.<\/p>\n\n

In the photo book, though, I placed<\/span> the photo square in the left-side\npage of a full<\/span> two-page spread (the last two-page spread in the book), and\nadded some pinstriping and fleurs, so when you open the book, it looks like\nthis:<\/p>\n\n
