First about the\nprotector itself...<\/p>\n\n<p>Nikon cameras come with a cheap thick plastic LCD screen protector that\neasily scratches, scuffs, and just looks ugly. When it scuffs enough, it\nbecomes cloudy and makes it worse than nothing. <span class='nobr'>So a couple<\/span> of years ago, <span class='nobr'>I bought<\/span> <span class='nobr'>a GGS<\/span> brand glass protector for my Nikon D200, and loved it. They're made for <span class='nobr'>a lot<\/span> of specific cameras (including\nNikon, Canon, Panasonic, Pentax, Sony, Olympus, Leica), and <span class='nobr'>a number<\/span> of\ngeneric sizes for point-n-shoots.<\/p>\n\n<p style='margin: 30px 0 60px 0'><b>GGS glass screen protectors: highly recommended.<\/b><\/p>\n\n<p>And now about where I buy them: <span class='nobr'>I buy<\/span> them from the <a\nhref=\"http:\/\/stores.ebay.com\/GreenLife-Style\">GreenLife Style store on\neBay<\/a>, where I've bought <span class='nobr'>a number<\/span> of things over the years. They're an\neBay store with <a href=\"http:\/\/myworld.ebay.com\/greenlife-style\/\"><span class='nobr'>a\nstellar<\/span> rating<\/a> (positive feedback of 99.2%, though my personal\nexperience has been 100% positive).<\/p>\n\n<p>I've been meaning to write about them for two years; that I'm doing it\nnow illustrates how far behind on stuff <span class='nobr'>I am.<\/span> <span class='nobr'>Two years<\/span> ago <span class='nobr'>I posted<\/span> about\na <a href=\"\/blog\/2008-09-04\/926\">Surreal (and exceedingly\nunpleasant) PayPal Experience<\/a> where PayPal had approved <span class='nobr'>a payment<\/span> from\nme to <span class='nobr'>a merchant,<\/span> the merchant replied &#8220;<i>got your payment; we'll ship\nyour order soon<\/i>&#8221;, and then half an hour later PayPal &#8220;un-approved&#8221; the\npayment and locked my account.<\/p>\n\n<p>Anyway, it took a week for me to get the PayPal situation cleared up\n(and ended up getting an <a\nhref=\"\/blog\/2008-10-01\/951\">apologetic phone call from an\nexecutive at PayPal<\/a>), but throughout the ordeal, the merchant,\nGreenLife Style, was 100% reasonable. <span class='nobr'>All emails<\/span> were answered within\nminutes, by <span class='nobr'>a human.<\/span> They were extremely accommodating to the situation,\nand they worked with me to get around the issue. <span class='nobr'>Due to the<\/span> PayPal silliness,\nat one point they had been paid twice for the same order, and immediately\nrefunded the overpayment. PayPal wasted <span class='nobr'>a lot<\/span> of their time during this\nordeal, but they were always cheerful and professional.<\/p>\n\n<p>I've bought a bunch of small things from them over time... the screen\nprotectors, Nikon MC-36 SLR remote-control knockoff ($30 instead of $150,\nand works just perfectly), rubber eyecups, etc.<\/p>\n\n<p>They're an eBay store so they present their products in the form of\nauctions, and sometimes there are multiple auctions for the same product,\nwith different prices (sometimes in different currencies), so if you want\nto buy from them, use their store's search feature and pick the result with\nthe lowest price.<\/p>\n\n<p><b>GreenLife Style's eBay Store: highly recommended.<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This post is about the aftermarket <b>GGS Glass LCD Screen Protector<\/b>, and about the store I bought mine from.
