I asked<\/span> whether I could<\/span> take a picture,<\/span> to which he replied\n“No, thank you.”, and I gave<\/span> him a sad<\/span> look and said that I wanted<\/span> to show\na picture<\/span> of his marshmallow to his Daddy<\/a> (who didn't\nmake the trip up this time), and after a bit<\/span> Josh relented and displayed\nhis creation for the camera...<\/p>\n\n

I don't normally ask the kids about photos, but when I do,<\/span> if I'm told\n“no” I'll walk away without a picture.<\/span>.. building trust is more important\nthan a picture.<\/span>.. but I'm not above invoking a sad<\/span> face and a daddy<\/span> reference. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n

I'd asked him to hold his marshmallow between his thumb and forefinger\nso I could<\/span> see it, and he thought I was<\/span> asking him to pose for a “I'm\ntaking a bite<\/span>” picture, so held the pretend-bite. Once I made<\/span> it clear that\nI was<\/span> just asking him to hold it in a certain<\/span> way, and not to hold a pose,<\/span>\nthe real bite ensued...<\/p>\n\n
