I really need to find a 12-step support group, or something, to help\nwean me off of Lightroom plugin development. I was already<\/span> way behind on\neverything before Lightroom 3<\/span> came out<\/a>, and\nthen was inundated with email from that as I tried<\/span> to get all my plugins<\/a>\nupgraded. But then I<\/span> took time out to indulge in some new development,\nwhich yielded my new\nPhotoSafe plugin<\/a>, but left me even further behind on email and blog\ncomments.<\/p>\n\n

So yesterday I sit down with the intention to at least do a triage<\/span>\nthrough my waiting mail, and at 10am I suddenly<\/span> got the idea for a simple<\/span>\nplugin that would solve a problem<\/span>\nsomeone was asking about<\/a>, and I thought<\/span> “It's so simple, I'll\njust do it now and be done with it!” I thought<\/span> I might<\/span> be able\nto get it done in an hour, and get back to my mail.<\/p>\n\n

So, that was 10 in the morning. Five minutes before midnight I was<\/span>\nmostly finished, and I put<\/span> it away for the day. I was so<\/span> disgusted with\nmyself for wasting the day that I forced<\/span> myself to do a non<\/span>-Lightroom post,\nsomething I want<\/span> to do every day but I had<\/span> not done all month. I did it<\/span>,\nbut just one pathetic\nlittle photo<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

Anyway, since I built the plugin, here it is. It allows<\/span> you to view all\nthe metadata in an image:<\/p>\n\n

It's sort of similar to my online image metadata\nviewer<\/a>, but built into Lightroom.<\/p>\n\n
