Ugh. <span class='nobr'>The least<\/span> offensive for <span class='nobr'>a long<\/span> time was Gillette Sensor, so I'd stock up at\nCostco to save on blades, change often, and suffer.<\/p>\n\n<p>But last summer, on the recommendation of my dad, <span class='nobr'>I give<\/span> <a\nhref=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Gillette_Fusion#Current_Gillette_products\">Gillette\nFusion Power<\/a> <span class='nobr'>a try.<\/span> <span class='nobr'>I would<\/span> have never tried it on my own &mdash;\n&#8220;5 blades, with an extra blade on the edge&#8221; is just comical\n&mdash; and, of course, the whole battery thing (the &#8220;Power&#8221; in\nthe name) seems so gimmicky.<\/p>\n\n<p>But it's great. <span class='nobr'>I consistently<\/span> get <span class='nobr'>a good<\/span> shave, without razor burn or\nother hacked-up-skin effects, and it's cheap. And yes, the blade on the\nedge is useful, and the battery vibration thing does seem to make it all <span class='nobr'>a\nsmoother<\/span> process.<\/p>\n\n<p>I say &#8220;it's cheap&#8221;, but if you look at the prices in the\nstore, you won't think so.... <span class='nobr'>a pack<\/span> of 8 blades costs something like $20. <span class='nobr'>The thing<\/span> is, they last forever...
