Well, my previous stone-related “What am I?”\nquiz<\/a> was apparently too difficult for everyone, so here's a softy.<\/span>...<\/p>\n\n

I found this stone lantern among the hundreds of odd-shaped and\nbeautiful stone carvings in the gardens behind the\nNishimura Stone Lanterns workshop<\/a>. Those familiar with the Star\nWars™ world (or with the vast array of Star Wars™ toys<\/a>\ntheir kids might leave underfoot) will likely find that these photos call\nto mind the Imperial\nStar Destroyers<\/a> from the original movies.... especially after I write<\/span>\n“Imperial Star Destroyer” several times. \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/p>\n\n

I would assume that this was carved before any of the Star Wars™\nmovies were made, but even if it's more recent, no one's going to carve an\nImperial Star Destroyer from solid stone. In any case<\/span>, I can tell<\/span> you for\nsure that this is not<\/i> an Imperial Star Destroyer, or anything from\nthe Star Wars™ world.<\/p>\n\n

So, what is it?<\/p>\n\n

And yes, Marci, I realize<\/span> that “warp speed ahead” is from Star Trek.<\/span>™<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n
