I've lived here for four years and never noticed it in this\nway before.<\/p>\n\n<p>After I did notice it and grabbed the camera, <span class='nobr'>I became<\/span> more struck by\nthe difference of the one line to the rest, the leaves accumulated on the\nledge that rises from left to right. This struck me as <span class='nobr'>a connection<\/span> between\nthe layers above and below, so <span class='nobr'>I thought<\/span> about captions such as\n&#8220;<b>Bridging the Gap<\/b>&#8221; and such. <span class='nobr'>But nothing<\/span> <span class='nobr'>I thought<\/span> of really\ncaptured what <span class='nobr'>I wanted,<\/span> so <span class='nobr'>I asked<\/span> <span class='nobr'>a friend,<\/span> William Maton, via Yahoo\nMessenger what caption he'd put on it....<\/p>\n\n<p>His response, &#8220;<b>Sea, Forest, and Mountains<\/b>&#8221; was on <span class='nobr'>a whole<\/span>\ndifferent level than what <span class='nobr'>I was<\/span> thinking. Wondering whether anyone else\nwould have <span class='nobr'>a completely<\/span> different direction, <span class='nobr'>I posted<\/span> the photo sans\ncaption or explanation. <span class='nobr'>I'm gratified<\/span> at the response, and it was fun.\nThanks for playing. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n<p>I finally went with &#8220;<b>Going Up<\/b>&#8221; because in the end <span class='nobr'>I saw<\/span> the\nline of leaves <i>rising<\/i> more than <span class='nobr'>I saw<\/span> it <i>bridging<\/i>, though\nthose looking at the photo from right to left might not quite see it that\nway.<\/p>\n\n<p style='margin-top:30px'>As <span class='nobr'>a bonus,<\/span> <span class='nobr'>I got my<\/span> <a\nhref=\"\/blog\/category\/pretty-photos\/desktop-backgrounds\">desktop-background\nimage<\/a> machinery working again &ndash; <span class='nobr'>I installed<\/span> Photoshop on <a\nhref=\"\/blog\/2009-11-03\/1347\">my new machine<\/a> &ndash; so the\ncopy above has links to desktop-background sizes.<\/p>\n\n<p>I have a version with an extra layer, but it struck me better in <span class='nobr'>a\nlandscape<\/span> orientation that emphasized the banding.
