The other day in “Nishimura Stone Lanterns: the Workshop<\/a>” I introduced<\/span> the\nworkshop of a fifth<\/span>-generation stone-carving shop in north-east Kyoto that\nPaul Barr and I “discovered” the other day.<\/p>\n\n

Next to and beside their shop are areas just teeming with a huge<\/span> variety\nof stone carvings. I assume<\/span> it's their “warehouse” and sales floor (so to\nspeak), but I'm not really sure. It sure looked<\/span> pretty if you stuck your\nhead in a bit<\/span> to look.<\/p>\n\n
