{"id":134,"date":"2006-01-19T17:26:50","date_gmt":"2006-01-19T08:26:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/regex.info\/blog\/2006-01-19\/134"},"modified":"2006-01-19T17:26:50","modified_gmt":"2006-01-19T08:26:50","slug":"im-sick-of-being-sick","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/regex.info\/blog\/2006-01-19\/134","title":{"rendered":"I&#8217;m *sick* of being sick"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>\n\nI'm <b>sick and tired<\/b> of being sick. <span class='nobr'>It seems<\/span> that in the last six\nmonths I've been sick more than in the previous six years. <span class='nobr'>I seem to<\/span> spend\nabout one week <span class='nobr'>a month<\/span> with <span class='nobr'>a mild<\/span> cold, and this week is no different\n(except that this weeks' cold seems particularly drawn out).\n\n<\/p><p>\n\nAmazingly, and to the wonderful contrary, Anthony has had very few colds.\nEver. <span class='nobr'>I can't<\/span> even remember the last time he was sick. <span class='nobr'>I do remember<\/span> that\nhe was pretty sick while <span class='nobr'>I was<\/span> in Ohio for the summer (with <span class='nobr'>a temperature<\/span>\nof 104+), but he may well have not been sick since. <span class='nobr'>He goes to<\/span> playcare\nthree times <span class='nobr'>a week,<\/span> so I'm sure he's virtually <b>swimming<\/b> in bacteria\nand virus, but he always just seems to be fine.\n\n<\/p><p>\n\nMmmm, it's generally Daddy's job to do the to\/from playcare transport, so\nmaybe it's my visiting the playcare petri dish that's giving me all these\ncolds?\n\n<\/p><p>\n\nWhatever it is, I'm <b>sick<\/b> of it!\n<\/p>\n\n<br clear=\"all\"\/>\n\n\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p> I'm <b>sick and tired<\/b> of being sick.
