I thought I'd give this one a try in B&W, which is a much<\/i>\nmore difficult proposition than you might expect if you've never done it. In Adobe<\/span> Lightroom you can adjust all kinds of parameters for how the\nconversion from color is done, completely changing the character of the\nresult in wild swings with a flick<\/span> of a slider.<\/span> Even while remaining in the\ngrayscale world, the creative opportunities are endless... and if you are\nnot guided by an innate sense of what you want, you end up wandering around\nin circles. This doesn't even consider the additional dimensions that doing\na monotone<\/span> or duotone rendition add.<\/p>\n\n

My brain got fried pretty quickly. I have no<\/span> idea whether this\nparticular rendition is what I want,<\/span> because I have<\/span> no idea what I want<\/span>\nother than to move on to something else. \ud83d\ude42 <\/p>\n\n

UPDATE:<\/b> Okay, I removed<\/span> the fence rail in the background that had the unfortunate\nplacement of looking like it was Anthony's fan thurst through Grandpa's arm.<\/p>\n\n

And to appeas my Mom who likes a little<\/span> color better<\/a>, here's a version<\/span> with that\nantique 60's faded-color look...<\/p>\n\n
