Nikon has nothing\ncomparable, though there is <span class='nobr'>a Nikon<\/span> 50mm f\/1.2. <span class='nobr'>Zak used to<\/span> have one, which I've\nborrowed to good effect to get\n<a href=\"\/blog\/2008-02-05\/715\" class='quiet'>artsy-fartsy\nwith the shallow depth of field<\/a>, and with my D700 to <a\nhref=\"\/blog\/2008-09-15\/935\" class='quiet'>explore the\ndepths of low-light photography<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<p>One of the photographers in attendance was Kyoto friend <a\nhref=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/barbery\/\" class='quiet'>St\u00e9phane\nBarbery<\/a>, who prefers <span class='nobr'>a small,<\/span> quiet, unobtrusive camera.
