A certain kind of trees around here (cottonwoods<\/a>, I think<\/span>) have seeds that float lazily in big\nwhite puffy puffs. When I was<\/span> a kid,<\/span> we called these “Santa\nClauses”, and if you caught one, you made a wish<\/span> then sent it back on\nits way. I taught<\/span> this to Anthony.<\/p>\n\n

They're fairly common, so whenever I was<\/span> out with Anthony and he tried\nfor one, I tried<\/span> to photographic the sequence. This gave me much-needed\npractice with quick-response manual focus, and after a bunch<\/span> of tries, an\nokay result with what should be in focus almost in focus....<\/p>\n\n
