Anthony's tooth, quite loose<\/a> from a few<\/span> days ago, got flippy-floppy-dangly\nloose this morning while eating breakfast. I thought<\/span> it should be left to\ncome out naturally, but once it was that loose and bleeding (but not at all\npainful), both my ER-nurse sister and mom said that I should<\/span> just pluck it\nout.<\/p>\n\n

So, under the guise of “checking” it, I had him<\/span> open up and I gave<\/span> a\nlight<\/span> tug, and out it came. He didn't quite realize it, but when I feigned<\/span>\nsurprise (“it just came out right in my hand!”) and he saw it, he was\nextremely excited.<\/p>\n\n

Most of his excitement comes from the American idea of the Tooth Fairy,\nwhich promises some amount of money under his pillow.<\/p>\n\n
