This is #5 in a series on our visit to KidZania in\nNishinomiya, Japan<\/a>, where Anthony's day so far has consisted of working\nas a gas-station attendant<\/a>, getting some banking\ndone<\/a>, and a short<\/span> stint as construction\nworker<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

Anthony stopped by the driving school again, and found that the wait was\nshorter this time, so he decided to get his license. This, in turn, would\nallow him to rent a car,<\/span> which then would allow him his ultimate goal of\nactually driving one (as seen in the gas-station post). It wouldn't be the\nfirst time he's driven (he drove a go<\/span>-cart<\/a> once last year), but it's still a rare<\/span>\nchance.<\/p>\n\n

Just as he was inspecting his new license, some guy walked right in\nfront of me and hovered there, and so I missed<\/span> the shot when a look<\/span> of glee\novercame Anthony's face and he gave a big<\/span> toothy grin and an emphatic\nthumbs-up sign. Sigh.<\/p>\n\n

We have to renew Anthony's passport this week, and so yesterday I took<\/span> a\nportrait<\/span> shot for it, but I realize<\/span> now that I could<\/span> have just scanned and\nprinted this photo! Coincidentally, he's even wearing the same shirt in the\nphoto I took<\/span> yesterday as the one here. Hmmm..... <\/p>\n\n
