{"id":122,"date":"2005-12-30T22:41:37","date_gmt":"2005-12-30T13:41:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/regex.info\/blog\/2005-12-30\/122"},"modified":"2005-12-30T22:41:37","modified_gmt":"2005-12-30T13:41:37","slug":"how-to-tell-when-youre-stinky","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/regex.info\/blog\/2005-12-30\/122","title":{"rendered":"How to tell when you&#8217;re Stinky"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\n\n<p>\n\n\nInstead of the usual &#8220;good morning&#8221; from Fumie the other day,\n<span class='nobr'>I got<\/span> &#8220;oh, stinky!&#8221; <span class='nobr'>I thought<\/span> <span class='nobr'>I could<\/span> generally tell when my\nbreath was less than the proverbial bouquet of roses, so <span class='nobr'>I was<\/span> somewhat\nsurprised.\n\n<\/p><p>\n\nI breathed into a cupped hand and smelled, and noticed nothing untoward. <span class='nobr'>She suggested<\/span> that <span class='nobr'>I wipe<\/span> my finger on the back of my tongue and give that\n<span class='nobr'>a whiff.<\/span> <span class='nobr'>It sounded<\/span> slightly odd, but <span class='nobr'>I gave<\/span> it <span class='nobr'>a try,<\/span> and wow, talk about\nputrid! <span class='nobr'>I hadn't<\/span> been expecting any result, much less <i>that<\/i> result. <span class='nobr'>I almost<\/span> vomited.\n\n<\/p><p>\n\nA toothbrush on the tongue did little to assuage the situation (but did\nalmost cause me to gag <span class='nobr'>a few<\/span> times), but using some toothpaste on my finger\nand scrubbing the back of the tongue took care of everything.
