Suddenly this week, for reasons that I don't<\/span> know, Anthony has an\nextreme interest in soccer. He doesn't know much about it other than you\nkick a ball<\/span> into a goal,<\/span> and that the goalkeeper can use his hands, but\nhe's started to “practice” with enthusiasm at kindergarten and in the\nlivingroom (the latter with a Nerf<\/span>-type ball). Today, for the first time,\nwe went to a park<\/span> to kick a ball<\/span> around.<\/p>\n\n

After playing together for a while, I remembered<\/span> that I had<\/span> the camera\nwith me (I brought<\/span> it to a school<\/span> event but ended up not using it), so\npulled it out for some shots of him in action. Before that, though, he\nwanted me to take a bunch<\/span> of shots of him speaking, so he should show Mommy\nthe “movie” of it. As he finished<\/span>, my last shot of the sequence caught him\nin the early stages of a “thumbs up”.<\/p>\n\n

But then it was time for soccer. He ran around<\/span>, and I held<\/span> the camera at\nwaist level and ran around after him, shooting from the hip...<\/p>\n\n
