\nThis morning Fumie and I made an impromptu visit to Nanzenji (\u5357\u7985\u5bfa<\/b> - the Nanzen Temple), which is a few minutes away by bicycle (map<\/a>).\n<\/p>

\nWe brought some coffee and tasty bread, parked the bikes, and walked around\na bit.\n\nWe've been there\nmany<\/a>\ntimes<\/a>,\nand this time was only a short visit, but in addition\nto the funny picture shown in an earlier post<\/a>, it\nyielded a few nice shots as well:<\/p>\n\n

\nFor some reason, I really<\/span> like this shot of an old lady cleaning leaves. She swept<\/span> them with a traditional bamboo broom into the untraditional plastic\ndust pan, then dumped them into the blue bin. Repeat until Winter.<\/p>\n<\/td><\/tr><\/table>\n\n

\nMy attempt at an artistic shot of an elevated walkway between two\nbuildings. It spans<\/span> a gap under which is a narrow stone stairwell leading\nto the back.
