The Eisho-in Temple This Morning
with its larger-than-life Buddha statue up on the hill

I popped out early this morning to visit the Eisho-in temple (栄摂院、京都市), first seen on my blog a week ago in A Few Views of Kyoto’s Spectacular Eisho-in Temple. It really does pack a visual punch for such a small place, and I had it completely to myself the whole time I was there.

Jena WAS! She especially liked how you could peek *through* the stone lantern at the far edge of the wigglegram.

I love these Wigglegrams they make for almost a holographic effect.

I wonder if you’ve thought about somehow sharing what’s needed, (the blog plugin etc), so others can do these? I suppose you could cook them down into a .gif, but not only would that decrease the image quality, but people couldn’t pan back and forth on them, which is part of the power of these.

I have indeed thought about sharing the apps, but it’s quite difficult to get good results (as slightly alluded to here), and also requires technical skill to make it viewable on the internet. I just haven’t had the energy to make things suitable for release. )-: —Jeffrey
