It's an empty shoe rack at Anthony's elementary school. There are two sets... one for the street shoes left at the entrance...

What a lovely custom! My sons Catholic preschool in US let them wear slippers in side. He thought it was wonderfully comforting. The teachers thought it was much cleaner. Now at public school, he is always getting in trouble for taking his shoes off at carpet time.
