Hi Jeff. How do you l ike the Voigtländer 125mm lens? I have their 40mm 1.4 Nokton lens. It’s a great lens. I have the D700, like you. Great camera too!

Hi Scott, hey, I thought I recognized that name. I adore the Voigtländer 125mm f/2.5 … it’s by far my favorite lens, and the lens I use for everything unless I have a specific reason not to. 🙂 I posted a few initial samples when I first got it here, and wrote up a bit about the lens itself here, but perusing my blog since the initial post and you’ll find it shows up quite a bit. Just dreamy, but I’ve even had some success using it for birds in flight, which is beyond the call of duty for a lens like this. My first cherry-blossom season with it starts in about a week, which I’m very much looking forward to! —Jeffrey

Have you seen Avanaut’s lego photos? I especially enjoyed his method for creating snow shots.

Lovely posts on Anthony. I showed them to my son A. He was fascinated by his swimming photo and of course Lego ones. He enjoyed that his art is very similar to your son’s. He asked if everyone of Anthony’s friends are ok after what happened in Japan. Thanks!
