Family Time

A few more pictures from our trip to Sunainosato in Shiga, Japan, in April. I can't decide whether I like a pure B&W view, or one with subdued colors...

It was the day of the doggy funeral, so I'm sure it was emotionally taxing on Anthony, but he seemed to hold up fine.

What was satisfying for Anthony were the ample opportunities for fun that the grounds offered...

Love the shot where he’s leaping from one rock to the other. The black and white family scene is nice too.

The first image (the black and white one) is very nice. I love the tint on the screens and the look of the outdoors part. A very nice capture of a family moment. I think it is better than the second color image.

“Family Time” is a powerful photo. The bright background and the indoor lighting really tickles my fancy. There’s so much about this photo that I like.

With work being so busy, I’ve taken a step back from taking photos and I’ve found B&W photos seem to have quite a bit of impact to me. I think when my time frees up, I’ll try to take more B&W photos.

Again, great photos. Thanks for sharing.

Can you tell me more about the table in the photo family time? I realize we’re here to comment on photography…but that table is so cool….and unusual.

Not sure what to say… I didn’t think much of it at the time, but it seems to be a well-made park-like table. Dunno. —Jeffrey
