The trip we came back from yesterday could be summed up with one word: Snow. The first day (a travel day) was clear and bright.... and that was pretty much the last of the sun we saw for the rest of the trip. This was my first photo on Day 2.

You know, the photo is gorgeous and dramatic, but after growing up in the snow belt, my first thought on seeing it was “Blech!” Of course Josh wants it to snow like that here. When you’re 3 and don’t have to scrape ice off your windshield, snow’s great. But still – BLECH!
