(However, as it is well below freezing here in Michigan with lots of snow, and I know you did a &quot;cold weather&quot; trip, I may not  enjoy them as much as a trip to Amami or Okinawa :)

&lt;span class=&#039;jfriedl&#039;&gt;But that&#039;s the thing... I &lt;i&gt;post&lt;/i&gt; often, but the non-Kyoto posts are all from the same few trips. In 2009 we took a weekend trip to Okinawa,  a four-day trip to Ishigaki, and an overnight trip to Tokyo Disneyland. Nothing too major there. Of course, I spend summers at my folks&#039; place in America, so that adds another long trip. That&#039;s it. I had something like a dozen separate posts from the 2nd day of the Ishigaki trip.... we just tend to visit places that yield a lot of pictures and stories.... &#8212;Jeffrey&lt;/span&gt;</description>
