“Toad”

Anthony found a couple tiny toads in the grass, and brought them over to a “toad house” garden ornament, and put them in. He closed the door and intended that they would live there, but I suggested that he should leave the door open and let the toads decide for themselves. He really didn't like that idea, but in the end relented....

Would the prince like a kiss? That’s a really great shot.

It reminds me of the book Princess Smartypants by Babette Cole. “Prince Swashbuckle didn’t think Princess Smarypants was so smart. So she gave him a magic kiss… … and he turned into a gigantic warty toad!”

I used to read this book to my daughter when she was younger.
