Backyard Baseball

Uncle Alan stopped by to visit for a bit with his wife and four-month-old Titi. He didn't have long because he had an 8-hour drive home waiting, but he had time for a bit of baseball with Anthony.

I took a bunch of shots as they played... here are some I like, arranged as if they were all from the same pitch. The different lighting (the sun was in and out of the clouds) is perhaps disconcerting, but I figure it's a slightly better ordering than “random”...

Returning To the Dugout

Anthony was pretty good at hitting.... he's not too bad with me when we practice, but Uncle Alan is a much better pitcher.

Anthony sent this particular pitch way over the grape arbor.... a definite home run....

“Serious stuff” is so funny. And the “Friedl 14”-T-shirt, too. Your family seems to be a “picture book family”. I’m jealous!
