Other than the workaround mentioned in Alexander Kiel's blog (which I haven't tried yet simply because it changes a rather low-level regkey), are you aware of any other workarounds or solutions. Since it happens only with IE7, have you tried talking to someone at Microsoft about it? If not, I might be able to put you in touch with some folks..
