You're not imagining anything, and you're not alone in being sick of always being sick -- I myself am just in the process of coming down with my third cold in less than two months, and prior to that I hadn't had a cold in almost four years -- I exercise frequently, eat plenty of fresh fruits and veggies, sleep usually 7 to 8 hours a night, have a cheerful disposition -- but I did just recently start a new job (and no, it's not stressful) that brings me into close contact with people at a homeless shelter and food bank, not that I think they would be any more likely to hand on a virus than the next person --- in any case, I guess the best we can do is grin, sneeze, wipe with a kleenex, and bear it -- my personal opinion is that people are becoming so super health-conscious, so super-vitamined and flu-shotted, that the cold and flu viruses are becoming correspondingly stronger just to survive -- that means that viruses we used to be able to fight off without feeling much more than a few passing sniffles or a scratchy throat are now knocking us down for the count -- get used to it -- I think it's part of what is known as "the new norm".....

Jeff, are you getting enough exercise? I know that's hard to do when your feeling ill.... I used to come down with crud more frequently when I wasn't exercising regularly. 15 miles daily or more on either my hybrid or my road bike is my solution.... good aerobics at any rate....
take care.

A mere matter of resistance... his colds were in the US as yours are in Japan. Takes 2-3 years to fully get up to speed on the local flu/cold viruses.
